There are many benefits for you, as a member of the Stockton Sister Cities Association. Members receive our newsletter filled with pictures, news and reviews of events, and announcements. You will be invited to participate in events, such as various fund raising events and other social activities. Members are encouraged to join us at our monthly board meetings where your input helps map the direction your association goes. You are welcome to travel with us on Goodwill tours to our various sister cities. How do I join the Stockton Sister Cities Association (SSCA)?
In order to become a member of the SSCA, you need to fill out the membership application in the "Join Us" section of the "Membership" page and mail it to . If you are a returning member, welcome back and please use the form under the "Renew Membership" section.
If a city is interested in becoming a sister city with Stockton, what are the procedures we should follow?
In order to become a Sister City with Stockton, you must first read the SSCA's bylaws. In there, the procedures to create a new sister city is detailed.
When and where does the SSCA Board of Directors meet? Can I attend these meetings?
The Stockton Sister Cities Association holds a meeting on the first Monday of every month. If there is a holiday on the first Monday of a specific month, the meeting is pushed to the second Monday of the specific month. It is located in the Stockton Hilton and begins at 5:30PM. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings, we love guests!
